The Fairport Sport Fishing Association (FSFA) is a grassroots fishing community located in the Fairport area of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula along Lake Michigan. This association represents a close-knit group of anglers who share a deep passion for Michigan sport fishing, specifically targeting species such as Chinook (king salmon), coho salmon, lake trout, and steelhead.
Unlike larger formal organizations, the Fairport Sport Fishing Association serves as a local network that unites fishermen, charter crews, and outdoor enthusiasts who cherish the traditions and lifestyle associated with Great Lakes fishing. The group emphasizes camaraderie, the sharing of local knowledge, and a strong appreciation for the fishery, while also promoting Fairport as a unique and often overlooked fishing destination.

What an FSFA Membership does:
